Brian Murray acquired his first investment property in 2007. Without raising any outside capital, Brian bootstrapped his way from newbie investor to founder and CEO of Washington Street Properties, a commercial real estate investment and property management company that was ranked on the Inc. 500|5000 list of the nation's fastest-growing private companies for five years in a row. Brian has now owned more than 10,000 units of multifamily, including apartments and manufactured housing communities. In 2015 Brian Murray was recognized with a Gold Stevie Award for Executive of the Year in the Real Estate Industry.
Brian Murray is author of the bestselling and award-winning book Crushing It in Apartments and Commercial Real Estate, which has sold more than 50,000 copies and garnered positive reviews from Publishers Weekly, Foreword Reviews, and BlueInk Review. The book was chosen as the Gold Award Winner at the 2018 Robert Bruss Real Estate Book Awards.
